The Japanese artist Keiko Ogawa, travelling around the world (one of her passions after painting) met her husband, a well-known Catalan painter.
12 years ago, Keiko settled in Barcelona, where she has found her professional artistic career.
Since Keiko lives in Barcelona, she likes to paint our buildings and modernist architectonic elements.
The lonely figure that “inhabits” her paintings is often a self-portrait.
Her paintings of intimate subjects and her fast and fresh brush stroke reminds us of the Spanish Realism.
