Bea SARRIAS

Barcelona, 1978

She has been painting interior and exterior architecture for many years. She was initially inspired by an apartment in Barcelona’s Eixample district that her family was emptying after living there for almost a century. Her color palette was dark at the time, but she has gradually introduced color into her work. Currently, her paintings are based on spaces designed by renowned architects, which she recreates, giving them humanity with loose brushstrokes and soft neutral colors in contrast to the turquoise blue of swimming pools or the sea.
