Joan Longas (Barcelona, 1959) studied graphic design and illustration at the prestigious  School of Art Massana in Barcelona.

His work is narrative and autobiographical. He paints what he remembers and considers interesting to share. His work is a return to those scenes that left a deep impression on him. Having lived in California for many years has a direct influence on his compositions.
