Jorge Gallego confesses that he finds his refuge in painting.

Initially it was the landscape that spoke for him, as he himself admits, a mere “transcription”,  of what he saw. Now, on the other hand, figurative and naturalistic language it is, more than a goal, a medium where Jorge with each brushstroke, can show himself more intimately.

His most recent work is an introspective exploration, where reality is transformed and invites reflection. In his landscapes appear some ruined constructions that alter the pleasantness of the place, inciting us to imagine situations, discover secrets…
