Perico Pastor works with watercolor and ink on paper, almost always Japanese. He has a language of his own that starts from long, intuitive, forceful and precise brushstrokes, made with brushes of different thickness, dipped in black ink. They are gestural strokes that mark the structure of the work, give it great expressive power, and which are then integrated with perfect naturalness with the spots of color that he will apply.
