Nagori

The work presented by the artist Jaume Amigó at the Jordi Barnadas gallery has been conceived in front of the Atlantic Ocean in an open, immense space, where man is only an anecdote between majestic sunsets, mists, winds and the cyclical movement of ascent and descent of the tide. Jaume Amigó turns his emotion in front of nature into art.

The exhibition consists of about twenty pieces made with earthy pigments, characteristics of his last pictorial stage, on canvas or Japanese paper. Nagori, the word that gives its name to the exhibition, in Japanese culture literally means the mark that waves leave when they retire from the beach and also the subtle evocation of something ephemeral.
