One of the youngest artists represented by Galeria Jordi Barnadas. Trained at the Escola d’Arts i Oficis de Barcelona, he currently studies the art of stained glass at the workshop of the world-renowned master glassmaker, J.M. Bonet, and has participated in the restoration, conservation and construction of the stained glass windows of the Sagrada Familia Cathedral.
His hyper-realistic works, typically depicting anonymous persons before some of the most iconic landmarks of Barcelona, or showcasing empty vehicles parked in the streets, have recently captivated audiences in countries as culturally diverse as Portugal and Taiwan.
Figueras is a great observer, walks the streets full of “models” and charming corners that inspire him, draws sketches, takes photos and transforms movement and the daily life of the city in artworks with, despite his youth, impeccable technique.
